Police are investigating two Nassau banks that were robbed approximately one hour apart on Friday.
The first robbery occurred around 7:15 p.m. at the TD Bank on Peninsula Boulevard in Hempstead. The suspect allegedly handed the teller a note demanding cash before taking off.
Later, at around 7:55 p.m., the TD Bank on Mineola Avenue in Roslyn Heights was robbed. Investigators say the suspect also used a note to receive money.
Police say they have not yet confirmed a connection between the robberies. No arrests have been made.
