With back-to-school season in full swing, it's important for parents to plan lunches for students that are delicious, but also nutritious.

Dietitian and nutritionist Bonnie Taub-Dix says packed lunches may be more important as a lot of school cafeterias will be closed because of the pandemic.

She says it's important to let children help prepare their lunches since they are more likely to eat it if they help prepare it.

Some simple options include a whole-grain bread sandwich with almond butter and a medley of vegetables mixed with hummus.
