News 12's Elizabeth Hashagen learns how to make a healthy meal with
Eat Better Meals.
-Place halved spaghetti squash insides face up on baking tray and bake for 20 minutes at 400 degrees.
-Bring water to a boil and put in mixed vegetables for approximately 5 minutes, so outsides are tender and center is crisp.
-Fork out insides of spaghetti squash in a large bowl.
-Add vegetable to the bowl and mix. (Salt and Pepper may be added for taste.)
-To make it a family dinner just add grilled chicken on top.
-It can also be served cold at a summer BBQ instead of a macaroni salad.
