The seventh annual Abilis Golf Scramble is underway Wednesday at Griffith E. Harris Golf Course in Greenwich. The event brings together golfers, supporters and community partners for a day on the course in support of programs for adults with disabilities.

The scramble is a long-running spring tradition for Abilis, which provides services and support to more than 800 individuals with disabilities and their families across Fairfield County. Golfers of all levels are taking part in the scramble-format tournament, which includes contests on the course and concludes with a BBQ lunch.

Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Abilis’ Therapeutic Services for Adults, helping fund social, recreational and therapeutic programs not covered by other sources.

Abilis, founded in 1951 and celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, is a nonprofit serving individuals with disabilities from birth through adulthood in communities including Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, Norwalk, Ridgefield, Stamford, Westport and Wilton.

The 2026 Abilis Golf Scramble sponsors include: Carts & Greens: Laticrete; BBQ & Beer: NEMO Tile & Stone and Dwyer Builders General Contracting.
