A special fundraiser was held in a Deer Park backyard Saturday to raise money for the fight against pancreatic cancer.
"SuziePalooza" - honoring Sue Marchetti - featured a full day of live music and raffles with all the proceeds going toward the Lustgarten Foundation for pancreatic cancer research.
Marchetti was diagnosed with the disease on Dec. 23, 2014. She died 2 ½ weeks later, leaving behind a husband and three children.
There isn't a day that the three siblings say they don't think about their mom. Her son Philip says if she could tell her mother anything, it would be not to worry.
"We're all looking out for each other," he says. "I would tell her that dad is doing a fantastic job and I respect him in ways I can't even put into words."
Saturday's second annual SuziePalooza hoped to raise $5,000.
