Suspect wanted in robbery at Country Village Pharmacy in East Islip

Authorities say a masked man with a gun walked into Country Village Pharmacy on East Main Street in East Islip, ordered everyone on the ground and demanded painkillers.
The employees complied and the man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of medication, according to authorities. The employees were not injured.
Pharmacy employee Jovan Ayoub says the gunman cocked his weapon and pointed it at him while he was on his knees in the store.
"I'm thinking Medford pharmacy massacre part 2. That's what I'm thinking," Ayoub told News 12, referencing the murder of four people by David Laffer inside Haven Drugs Pharmacy nearly three years ago. Laffer was robbing the pharmacy to fuel his and his wife's addiction to painkillers.
The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches with a thin mustache. Police say the man was wearing sunglasses, a dark-hooded sweatshirt and a red bandana around the lower part of his face.
