Police are investigating after a Levittown home was broken into with a woman sleeping inside.
The incident happened yesterday afternoon on Constable Lane.
Police say someone forced open a rear bedroom window and stole jewelry.
A 25-year-old woman was sleeping in a different bedroom when she heard someone turn her door knob, but the door was locked.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Nassau Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
