Police are searching for the suspect who vandalized a church in Mastic Beach.
Police and hate crime investigators say someone broke glass displays and statues at St. Jude's candle shrine around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.
St. Jude's is located on the corner of Neighborhood Road and Hemlock Drive.
Anyone with information is asked to call Suffolk crime stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
