Police say a man with a gun held up a store in Valley Stream yesterday.
According to police, the armed robber held up Kidz Stuff on Rockaway Avenue around 4 p.m.
Police say the suspect then jumped into a Ford Escape and took off.
Investigators surrounded the man's Hewlett home, thinking he had barricaded himself inside. However, police believe he left before they arrived.
