A 22-year-old man has been arrested after what police say was an alcohol-fueled violent scene on a Frontier Airlines flight from Philadelphia to Miami.
The situation became so tense that flight attendants had to duct-tape the suspect, Maxwell Berry, to his seat.
The man is accused of groping two female flight attendants, and punching a male attendant. He also had a profanity-laced tirade against one of them. That's when he was subdued.
He was arrested on three counts of battery.
"After an incident like this, we are going to do a thorough investigation and really view what happened and how it was handled to make sure that everything is done properly and followed procedures," says Tyra Squyres, Frontier Airlines vice president of marketing.
The flight attendants are on paid leave while the airline investigates.
