The superintendent of the Franklin Square Union Free School District sent a note to parents this morning warning of a stranger danger incident.

News 12 has learned a child was approached by an unknown man who pulled up in front of their neighbor’s house.

The man allegedly watched the student for 10 minutes, then went into his trunk to get a baseball glove and attempted to get the child to play.

The child was playing in front of his home at the time of the incident.

The boy went into his home and notified his parents who contacted police and the school.
