Starting next month, Suffolk Bus service will be available to thousands of riders.
This year, Sunday service was only available on the East End during the summer. Beginning Jan. 5, riders will be able to catch buses on Sunday county-wide on 10 different routes.
County Executive Steve Bellone says the extra bus service is vital to the county. Federal funds will be used to increase service.
