WHAT'S NEW: After a quiet and dry day Thursday, a chance for showers and thunderstorms arrives by Friday afternoon. Some brief gusts and scattered downpours are expected. Canadian wildfire smoke will drift down this way tonight into tomorrow. There may be a hazy look in the sky but not the sky turning yellow to orange like it did last week.
WHAT'S NEXT: Rain chances are less on Saturday than Friday, but it still won’t be a great day around. Father’s Day & Juneteenth will be trending drier.
