A Ridge woman is accused of leaving two kittens in her hot car at a Long Island Rail Road station.
The Suffok SPCA says Kimberly McKinley left the kittens in her car at the Ronkonkoma station Tuesday from 2 a.m. until they were found at 9 a.m.
The temperature outside at the time was 81 degrees.
The kittens were removed from the vehicle and transported to Brookhaven Animal Shelter.
McKinley is due in court in September. She faces animal cruelty charges.
