A Centereach man is accused of keeping 11 dogs in horrid conditions.

Detectives with the Suffolk SPCA say Christopher Digiovanna kept 10 of them in a small room with urine and feces-soaked sheets with live exposed electrical wires.

News 12 has been told at least two of the dogs had traces of cocaine in their system.

The property was deemed unfit for human occupancy because of rats, mildew and mold.

Digiovanna was arrested and has two active arrest warrants for unrelated cases.
