The Suffolk County Sheriff's Office kept the holiday spirit alive Wednesday with its second annual toy and pajama giveaway.

First responders distributed hundreds of toys and pajamas to children and families in Yaphank.

The sheriff's office event was held in collaboration with EJ's PJs, Toys for Tots, Helping Makes You Happy and the Suffolk County Alliance of Chambers.

The Suffolk County Sheriff's Office START Resource Center worked with service providers to identify children and families in need throughout the county, including children of incarcerated individuals. Additional toys and pajamas were donated on a first-come, first-served basis.
