2h agoSuffolk County police say a woman was found dead inside a car in the water in Stony Brook.
Officers responded to a call about a vehicle found in the water off Shore Road around 6:45 a.m., according to authorities. Police say the driver, 76-year-old Harriet Farish, was discovered deceased inside the 2020 Kia Telluride.
Authorities say homicide squad detectives are investigating the incident.
Detectives ask anyone with information to call the homicide squad at 631-852- 6392.
