A Suffolk police officer helped make a special delivery Monday morning in Patchogue.
Officer Robert Burgos helped deliver a baby girl named Kayla on Jennings Avenue around 2:50 a.m.
Burgos says he responded to a 911 call for a woman in labor in her home.
Minutes later, he helped Edith Punin deliver the baby.
The mother and child were taken to Stony Brook University Hospital where police say they're in good condition.
