A man’s body was found inside a home on Bristol Street in Lindenhurst early Sunday morning.

Details into the investigation are scarce, but Suffolk police said he was the “victim of violence.”

Police also said they believe the victim didn’t live at that location.

Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the incident. No arrests have been made.

“We don’t know exactly what happened yet, but I definitely am shocked…too close to home,” said Ethan Ploth, of Lindenhurst.
