2ds agoA Wyandanch man was fatally shot Monday in front of his home, police say.
Police say Alonte Shipp was shot during an altercation with another person while standing in front of his home at 61 Lake Drive at 4:38 a.m.
Shipp, 20, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on the shooting to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
