Suffolk police: 4 people arrested for selling tobacco, vapes to minors during Operation Smoke Out

Police say Taghi Sidi was arrested at Bougatfa Zero Smoke Shop in Brentwood. Anthony Jordan was arrested at Mr. Vape in Islip Terrace.

Four additional suspects have been arrested during Operation Smoke Out, a police initiative aiming to crack down on illegal and underage vape sales.

Police say Taghi Sidi was arrested at Bougatfa Zero Smoke Shop in Brentwood. Anthony Jordan was arrested at Mr. Vape in Islip Terrace.

Both men are accused of selling tobacco to a minor, according to authorities.

Police say Imonie Woody was arrested for selling flavored vapes to a minor at Irie Vaporization Wellness and Scents in Coram.

Hussain Shaiq was caught selling flavored vapes to a minor. He also faces charges for illegal possession of cannabis.

Authorities say nearly 30 arrests have been made since Operation Smoke Out began earlier this month.
