Suffolk officials are warning passengers about illegal transportation operators in the county.

Leaders say there has been an increase of passengers getting into unlicensed limousines and taxis.

They say that there is nowhere to file a complaint if a passenger takes a ride with an unlicensed operator.

Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine is urging passengers to make sure their vehicles are licensed by Suffolk County before getting in.
