A Suffolk County police officer shot in the line of duty in Coram is set to be released from the hospital on Thursday.
Hundreds of officers and Suffolk County officials will show their support as Sixth Precinct Officer Michael LaFauci is released from Stony Brook University Hospital at 11 a.m.
A press conference will be held prior to the officer's release outside the entrance at the hospital at 10:30 a.m.
