Suffolk officer assists in delivering baby for 3rd time in 6 months

A Suffolk County police officer helped deliver a baby Monday for the third time in six months.
The child had already arrived when officer Arnold Reyes arrived at the house in Sayville.
He then took charge and put clamps on the umbilical cord before helping the father cut the cord.
The mother and baby were later transported to a hospital.
