So-called "revenge porn" is now illegal in Suffolk.
County Executive Steve Bellone signed the law Monday morning, making it illegal to share intimate images of another person without their consent.
Advocates for victims say it's about time revenge porn is treated like a crime.
Violators of the new law face up to a year behind bars and a $1,000 fine.
Currently, there's no statewide law banning the act.
