An Albany man accused of fatally stabbing his ex-girlfriend in Coram pleaded guilty Monday just before the start of his murder trial, according to the Suffolk district attorney.

Kason Parker attacked 27-year-old Meghan Kiefer on the front lawn of her Harford Drive home.

Kiefer was found with multiple stab wounds and later died at the hospital.

Parker is due back in court on May 21 for sentencing. He faces up to 25 years to life in prison.
