Four people were arrested in an alleged Montauk drug ring.
Suffolk County District Attorney Ray A. Tierney says the group trafficked cocaine and fentanyl from the Dominican Republic, New York City and other places to sell at local bars.
Angela Garces-Diaz, Anuedy Garces-Medrano, Yadaris Baez-Rivera and Everado Hernandez were charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance.
The findings are part of an investigation that began in March.
News 12 is told law enforcement officials confiscated over $35,000 in cash, a gun and felony weight quantities of cocaine and fentanyl.
"The message from this case is simple: If you traffic in these drugs anywhere in Suffolk County from Babylon to Montauk - we will prosecute you," Tierney says.
All four suspects were arraigned on Thursday. Garces-Diaz and Garces-Medrano were held without bail. Baez-Rivera and Hernandez were released on their own recognizances
