The Suffolk Marathon is coming back this year in person. 

The seventh annual marathon, half and other races will be held in October in Babylon.

This year’s event is dedicated to post-9/11 veterans in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the attacks.

"With every step that you take, whether you're walking, running, going for a record or, like me, just trying to get to the finish line, you know that you are supporting the veterans in this region,” says Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone.
