Suffolk auxiliary police captain dies from COVID-19

The Suffolk County Police Department has announced it has lost a member due to COVID-19.
Axuiliary Police Captain Anthony DeNoyior died from the virus on Sunday.
The 55-year-old was a volunteer with the auxiliary police since 2002, serving in the First Precinct.
DeNoyior is survived by his wife and two sons.
There is no word on funeral arrangements.
