Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone signed legislation Friday that requires county-funded housing developments to include affordable housing.
The legislation states that at least five units must be designated as affordable housing for veterans and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
"What we are committed to in in this county is making sure everyone in our community is included," says Bellone.
