A new study from John Hopkins University says more and more college students are abusing Adderall.
Adderall is used to treat people with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, but researchers are seeing an uptick in the number of people abusing the drug to improve attention span and focus.
Researchers say students are unaware of the side effects of the drug, which include depression, hostile behavior, bipolar disorder, high blood pressure and stroke.
The study also found emergency room visits have increased because of misuse of the drug.
