Students return to class at several school districts amid coronavirus concerns

Many parents across Long Island were left waiting, wondering and worrying after several school districts temporarily closed due to concerns about the coronavirus.
News 12’s Danielle Campbell was in Locust Valley where the district had a two-hour delayed opening.
The district shut down on Tuesday after a bus driver tested positive for the coronavirus, according to district officials.
Staff at the schools have been deep cleaning the building. However, some parents told News 12 that they wanted schools to remain closed.
Students at Plainview-Old Bethpage, Shoreham-Wading River, Glen Cove and Oyster Bay-East Norwich returned to class Wednesday after temporarily closures.
Classes at Suffolk County Community College and Hofstra University remain canceled.
