A Connetquot High School student allegedly had 90 bags of heroin at school, according to court documents.
Police say they arrested Matthew Stambler, 18, on Wednesday after the principal called him into the office, and allegedly found the heroin on him.
According to court records, the teen also had $900 in cash with him and two cellphones.
He was charged with possession and intent to sell the drug.

In a statement, the school superintendent cited privacy laws and would not comment further on the arrest. A note sent home to parents asked for help in maintaining a safe school campus by being proactive with information that could help in the fight against illegal drugs.
Drug addiction specialist Dr. Jeff Reynolds says high school kids with heroin is an unfortunate trend.
"Now it's getting progressively younger, it's not uncommon for us to see 14-, 15- and 16-year-old kids coming in, heavily addicted to heroin," says Reynolds.
No one at Stambler's home wanted to talk to News 12 Long Island on Friday.
