Long Island residents stranded at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) had to deal with the news that jetBlue canceled even more flights Saturday.
The airline said in a statement that the decision to cancel 23 percent of its flights was an unprecedented effort to get things going again after the problems with the Valentine's Day snow and ice storm. One Valley Stream family has been trying to board a flight to Florida since Friday. The family members say they have no idea where their luggage is, but they are determined to get on a flight.
Others at JFK say information is hard to come by and the atmosphere is chaotic. However, some say the problems encountered during the week seem to be getting better.
