The New York Department of Motor Vehicles is resuming some services remotely starting Monday.

State-run DMV locations will begin to process vehicle registrations and other transactions by mail.

Appointments for commercial drivers license road tests can be schedule in all regions of the state that are in at least Phase 1 of reopening.

Test takers will have to wear masks and examiners will be wearing gloves and face shields.

Anyone who had a test canceled due to the pandemic will get rescheduling priority.
