The governors of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut came together to announce the shuttering of all bars, restaurants, movie theaters and gyms, effective Monday evening.

Govs. Andrew Cuomo, Ned Lamont and Phil Murphy announced the changes, which go went into effect at 8 p.m. Monday.

Restaurants will still be able to provide food through takeout or delivery options.

Cuomo says the federal government should have put the plan in place and worked with the states on it.

"If the federal government isn't going to do what it should do, then the states have to try their best," says Cuomo.

At The Greek Grill in Huntington, employees say changing to only takeout and delivery means big adjustments. The restaurant will add curbside pickup as well, so someone can call in their order and pick it up, lessening the contact customers and workers have with each other.

"It's a little more complicated in terms of like inventory and knowing how to carry certain things and whether or not we're going to go to a limited menu, how long we're going to be open in general," says Ioannia Mavromoustakos.

The restaurant says it has already seen a 70% drop in business, and the new restrictions will hurt even more.
