Police say they're searching for a man accused of using a cellphone to record video through the bathroom window of an Elmont home Saturday night.
The incident happened on Harrison Street around 9:30 p.m. Investigators say the victims' tenant spotted the man standing on a porch using his cellphone to record the bathroom.
Police say that during the time the man was recording, the bathroom was used by a 24-year-old woman, a 15-year-old girl and a 6-year-old girl.
The man recording the video ran away.  Police say he wore wearing camouflage shorts, a light-colored shirt and dark sneakers.
He's described as being a white male in his 20s. Police have released surveillance video of the suspect.
Neighbors who spoke with News 12 were disturbed by the incident.
"When I hear something like that, I think that there's a creep in my neighborhood, and I hope they find out who he is and where he is -- quickly," said one resident.
Anyone with information is asked to call Nassau Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
