Temperatures reached the 70s on Thursday, with lots of sunshine. Easily the best day of the week. Expect a quiet and clear night across the Hudson Valley before we transition into a more unsettled weekend.
Here is the updated outlook, starting with tonight’s forecast. Conditions remain calm tonight under partly cloudy skies with a light breeze as temperatures settle into the mid-40s to low 50s. Friday brings a slight dip in mercury, returning us to seasonal levels with highs in the low to mid-60s. You can expect a mix of sun and clouds throughout the day, accompanied by a persistent dry breeze.
Heading into the weekend, umbrellas are back up, especially through Saturday. By late morning, showers move in, steady at times through the afternoon and evening. Rain could hang around through the overnight into the start of Sunday, but I believe we can salvage some dry time for the afternoon as temperatures stay on the cooler side of normal.
