News 12 Storm Watch Meteorologist Sam Augeri says temperatures are rising with more rain in the forecast before a mostly sunny weekend.
HEADLINES:
  • Mild temperatures arrive Wednesday with some late day showers. Showers continue at night into Thursday and become more widespread. Right now rain totals are a little bit lower with totals near 1 inch as the storm looks to pull away from Long Island a little bit quicker.
  • Easter weekend looks nice with warmer temperatures for Sunday

WEDNESDAY: Cloudy with patchy fog and the chance for showers during the afternoon into the evening. Highs near 54 with light north to south winds. Sunset: 7:13. Cloudy at night with showers likely. Lows near 44.
THURSDAY: Cloudy with rain showers likely. Highs near 54. Chance for showers at night, ending by Friday morning. Lows near 38.
