The snowstorm grounded hundreds of flights and frustrated thousands of flyers on Monday, including many people itching to get home after the Super Bowl.
At LaGuardia Airport, dozens of flights were either canceled or delayed by several hours. Inbound flights were delayed by an average of 2 hours and 45 minutes.
Many stranded passengers watched from the terminal windows as planes were de-iced and snow was scooped off of the runway.
LaGuardia Airport has had the most arrival and departure cancellations, followed by Newark and Philadelphia airports.
