State police say a man was killed after he left the road Saturday afternoon on the Southern State Parkway in Bay Shore.

They say 29-year-old Michael J. Loiacono failed to follow the curve near Exit 41N.

News 12 was told he left the road, hit a guardrail, rolled and came to a rest in a wooded shoulder.

State police says Loiacono was ejected from his vehicle and died at the scene.
