It was a star-studded event in New York last night at the "After Earth" premiere.

The film, directed by M. Night Shymalan, stars Will Smith and his son Jaden. According to Smith, it takes place 1,000 years in the future, after humans have been evicted from earth. He says a father and son, played by himself and Jaden, crash land on earth and are forced to survive.

When asked about the best part about working with his father, Jaden says, "it helps the dynamic on screen and it helps the anticipation of those watching."

Everyone from Bruce Willis and Smith's pal from "Fresh Prince" Alfonso Ribeiro to Vinny from the "Jersey Shore" showed up to support the Smith family. And Jaden's buddy Justin Bieber halted traffic and caused mass hysteria outside the Ziegfeld Theater when he arrived.
