Two Suffolk school districts turned their cornhole skills into support for our nation’s heroes.
West Islip and Hauppauge hosted the first annual district cornhole tournament.
The competition raises money for the
Wounded Warrior Project which supports injured veterans and active service members.
Staff members competed in teams of two, with the winning duo earning the honor of presenting the check to the organization.
A total of 25 teams from each district competed.
There were prizes for the winners and the team with the most spirit.
