Numerous showers and thunderstorms made their way across Long Island Wednesday evening.
WEATHER CENTER
All of Long Island was under a severe thunderstorm watch until 9 p.m.
Some thunderstorms were strong to severe and brought heavy rain, gusty winds and lightning.
