Spooky Fest in Rockville Centre raises money for Center for Science Teaching and Learning

Families looking to celebrate Halloween a little early headed to Rockville Centre Friday for Spooky Fest.

The event is in its 12th year and raises money for the Center For Science Teaching and Learning.

Weather, however, has dampered many of the weekends the event has been on. Parents say they were excited for the warmer and dry weather for Friday and Saturday to attend the event

Spooky Fest will also be open Saturday and Sunday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. They are also adding an extra night to their season on Nov. 4 to make up for all the rain.
