A number of car accidents and spinouts have been reported across the Island due to Wednesday?s weather.Although there wasn?t much snow on the ground, drivers say they found the roads slick and sloppy due to freezing rain and ice. As a result of the dangerous conditions, a spin out was reported on the Meadowbrook Parkway in Freeport and a crash on Jericho Turnpike in Syosset.Out in Suffolk, highway crews in Riverhead were getting ready for another round of salting and sanding. Workers say they will head out Wednesday afternoon and again before midnight.
