Customers at Dollar Tree stores are used to spending one price on items, but soon they will have to spend more than $1 at certain Long Island locations.
After decades of sticking to its one-price-for-all model, Dollar Tree has announced that it will be rolling out prices above $1 in select stores.
The retailer says it will be adding items to the shelf that cost anywhere from $1 to $5.
The company also noted the price increases are due to higher wages and shipping costs.
