A Huntington woman is facing animal cruelty charges for allegedly neglecting her 1-year-old dog.
Officials from the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals say Earline Milligan allowed her pit bull-mix Simba to become severely emaciated. The dog also suffered from multiple infected open sores.
News 12 is told the 46-year-old woman surrendered to SPCA detectives on Friday.
Milligan is expected to go before a judge next month.
