Sullivan Beach in Southold will not be opening this summer due to storm damage and erosion.

The Southold Town Supervisor says the beach will not be staffed with a lifeguard this summer.

The town has also put up signs saying the beach is closed, as well as signs warning people not to climb down the edge of the parking lot.

The town says they're working on a solution.
