South Shore residents are facing coastal flooding concerns, along with big snow accumulations into Thursday.
Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter pleaded for residents to keep off roads so plows have a clear path as the storm continues. She says there are 500 pieces of equipment that have been prepared and fueled if needed.
Carpenter also says strong winds and coastal flooding are a possible threat. She urged everyone to secure all outdoor items.
